The Inbetweeners Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Yarra Valley and surrounding areas. The rescue was developed by a group of volunteers with a passion for animal welfare and is dedicated to taking in, rehabilitating and rehoming homeless and unwanted animals left in pounds and similar facilities across Victoria. Our Mission is to come to the aid of animals who have fallen between societies gaps, we aim to give our canine and feline friends everything they need to find a happy and safe place in the community again. We do not discriminate against age, breed or size when it comes to the animals we strive to help. Established in 2015, we have helped many dogs and cats find their forever homes, where they never have to worry again about being alone. It is our aim to continue to expand, and help to educate the wider community about responsible pet ownership and the value in adopting an animal in need.
Adoption Policy: Strict
To adopt a dog through The Inbetweeners Animal Rescue Inc. we ask that you fill in an application which will ask for some basic information about yourself, your home, any other pets you may have and your lifestyle so that we can find out whether you and your family are a good match for the dog you're interested in. If we believe you might be a good match, we will then arrange a meet and greet. We require a two week trial period prior to full adoption. A short home visit will be done (where possible) before the dog begins his or her trial with you. Our dogs are all temperament-tested, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea-treated prior to adoption.
