The campaign is to provide essential vaccinations and pet care to help prevent disease and unnecessary vet treatment which can lead to pound surrenders.
Friends of Kempsey pound is a volunteer run registered charity working to support local domestic animals and their owners. The goal of this group is to create a friendly positive safe environment where pet owners are able to raise topics that are pet related and working closely with the local rangers and pounds to find positive outcomes for animals in their care.
Over 2 community days Friends Of The Pound Kempsey were able to support 195 pet parents with 340 PARVAC Vaccinations, 112 Microchips, 622 flea and tick doses and over 200 food packages. We donated $4,500 to cover all the PARVAC vaccinations for this event and the next one.
