Paws of Love Animal Rescue

Paws of Love Animal Rescue was founded in May 2014. We rescue lost, homeless or surrendered companion animals and place them in loving foster homes. Animals do much better in foster care than in a shelter, so we have a network of wonderful volunteers who open their hearts and homes to our rescues. Animals are rehabilitated if required (veterinary or behavioural) and all our animals are completely vet worked. Paws of Love aims to give a second chance to animals that would otherwise have little hope. We also campaign for best practice animal management and animal welfare practices.

Adoption Policy: Strict

All applicants are asked to complete a pre-adoption Expression-of-Interest (no obligation), to assist us in assessing the fit between the needs of the animal in question and the potential adopter - we are looking to find a best match. If we think we have a match, we will arrange a (again no obligation) meet-and-greet with you and the rescue animal to see how you get along and answer any questions you may have. If you wish to proceed, we will complete the adoption formalities (which may include a property/yard/fence check) and wish you all the very best with your furever friend. We are of course available to support you through the settling in period, we do allow a two week trial period (or longer if required, with support of course) for you to take the time you need to settle your new dog into your home-life and family.
