Village Tails

Village Tails Inc, formerly known as The Mini Rescue, is a registered animal welfare charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of animals in Queensland and New South Wales. Our mission is to provide compassionate care, shelter, and adoption services for animals in need while educating the public on important animal welfare issues. Founded in 2021 by a group of animal enthusiasts, our organisation was initiated in response to the growing number of homeless and neglected animals in our community. Since our inception, we have tirelessly worked to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome thousands of animals annually. Our devoted team, consisting of both staff and volunteers, is passionate about animal welfare. We are committed to ensuring that each animal in our care receives the necessary love and attention they deserve. Beyond providing shelter, we offer medical care and training to help our residents become healthy, well-behaved, and adoptable. In addition to our adoption and shelter services, we conduct educational programs and resources that impart knowledge about responsible pet ownership, animal behaviour, and other welfare-related issues. We firmly believe that public education is essential in reducing the number of animals in need and in improving the quality of life for all animals in our community.
