Nanas Animal Rescue Inc

Nanas Animal Rescue Inc is a small non-profit animal rescue in the Fraser Coast, who dedicates their time and resources to animals in need. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs and cats that are abandoned, injured or at risk of euthanasia. We take in owner surrenders and rescue from pounds across QLD. Our team is dedicated to providing above and beyond care to every animal that comes into care. All animals that come into care are fostered in homes with approved dedicated and compassionate foster carers, to reduce stress on any animal coming into care. Adoption Policy: Strict

To adopt one of our dogs you will be required to fill in an adoption application first to see if you are suitable for the pet you are applying for. From there if successful you will be able to organise a meet and greet with the dog you have applied for. If you have another dog please bring them along to this meet and greet. We do not send the dogs home on the day of the meet and greet (however if you live more then 2 hrs away we may consider sending the dog home the same day) When you pick up your new family member you will be given a folder with some quick view due dates of when vaccinations/ flea, tick and worming (including heartworm) are due. All adoptions come with a 14 day trial period, in which if you choose the dog is not suitable you will receive a refund of the adoption fee, minus a $50 admin fee. After the 14 day trial period this is when you will receive all the dogs paperwork and can change microchip details etc. We are all volunteers and dedicate our spare time in helping these animals, please be patient and we will get in touch with you.
