Hunter Valley Maremma Haven is a not for profit organisation. We are a dedicated branch of Hunter Valley Cat Haven, operating as a small, foster-based rescue committed to the care, rehabilitation, and rehoming of Maremma Sheepdogs throughout the Hunter region.
We specialise in helping Maremmas find their ideal homes—whether as companions or as working livestock guardians. Every dog in our care receives individual attention and support to set them up for long-term success. Our thorough screening process ensures each dog is matched with a home that genuinely understands and meets their unique needs.
