K9 Rescue Group

We are a not-for-profit organisation established in 1990 to rescue, care for and rehome dogs. K9 Rescue Group strives to educate the community about responsible dog ownership. At K9 Rescue Group we are passionate about creating an environment where a dog is treated as a rightful and respected member of the community. We have many volunteers who work tirelessly to successfully re-home around 350-400 dogs a year.

Adoption Policy: Strict

If you are interested in meeting one of our many beautiful dogs that are available for adoption, you can complete an adoption application form either online or in our office if you don't have access to a printer. If your application is suitable for one (or more) of our dogs our lovely office staff will contact you to arrange a meet and greet. Once you have met the dog and our staff (and yourself) believe you are the right fit for the dog, the adoption will be processed. If your application is not suitable for the dogs that we currently have, we keep it on file for 6 months so that we can contact you in the future once we do have a dog that is a good match. If you already own a dog we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet with your dog and the dog you are interested in adopting. Our trained staff will conduct the meet and greets(s) and if the dogs are an appropriate match then adoption will be an option.
