Brave Companion Dog Rescue Inc. is a not-for-profit group, operating throughout the Lockyer Valley, Ipswich and Somerset region in South East Queensland.
Our mission is to rescue and re home the region's abandoned and unwanted dogs.

Adoption Policy: Strict
A primary condition and responsibility of taking ownership of a dog from our program is that, in the event of realising that your choice of dog is no longer suitable to you, - You must immediately contact our program coordinator to make arrangements for the safe return of the dog - You must agree to pay all charges for the return of the dog to Brave Companion Dog Rescue Inc., should this occur - Under no circumstance is a dog from our program to be surrendered to a council pound, RSPCA, Animal Welfare League, resold or given away Brave Companion Dog Rescue Inc. has the right to reclaim any dog, should information be received regarding the dog being mistreated, neglected or used for any other purpose than the purpose it was re homed for (namely as a family/companion dog). Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the BCDR Adoption Application. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet. Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
