Life's Better With A Dog
We know the incredible impact that rescue dogs make in our lives and we wanted to share that with everyone across Australia, in the hope of breaking stereotypes of rescue and shelter dogs and getting more dogs adopted.

If you have made the wonderful decision to add a new rescue dog to your family and you already have a dog at home, there are few simple steps you can take to ensure a smooth transition, for both your current furry family member and the new arrival.
Last year we awarded a grant of $10,000 to Thursday Island Animal Support Group to help facilitate two animal vet clinics on Thursday Island in collaboration with Vets Beyond Borders and Animal Welfare League QLD.
One of the best parts of working with our rescue partners is being able to see all the faces of the lives they save on a daily basis. The only thing better than that is the adoption stories we see knowing that those dogs will spend the rest of their days happy and loved.
One of our rescue partners, Dusty Paws Dog Rescue, works with rural pounds all over the country and was in the middle of organising a pound run when someone very special showed up who needed help.
During the month of February, SavourLife and the Petbarn Foundation are teaming up to donate $200K with the goal of helping rescue groups across Australia save 200 pups from pounds.
In collaboration with the Petbarn Foundation we’re proud to be donating $60,000 across six different rescue groups for their subsidized or free desexing programs, with the aim of desexing over 200 dogs.
Thank you for helping us reach this huge milestone!
We recently awarded DFL Rescue a grant for training and behaviour sessions for their long term dogs and were so happy to get such a postive update from the team last week!
